Back to BANS

in BANS

Sorry I have been away so long for all those who have contacted me.  There has been family sickness.

All that aside, this will be short and sweet.  I want to share a new site with you.  It’s WeSearch-YouSave.  You may recognize some of the BANS niche stores on the site.  A few are those I have shared with you as they were being built.

One of my friends who was so impressed with shopping the BANS way that she decided to start a blog to show off all the sites.  Presently, among friends about 50 BANS stores have been set up.  And, everyone is making a little money.

With economic times being what they are, everyone can use a little extra income.  BANS does not create an overnight fortune.  It takes time for the site to be indexed by Google and other sites, so if you see a need for income in your future, now is the time to get started.  From all reports, it seems to take about six months to get everything going so it doesn’t require daily attention.

Of course, there are going to be those who will say that BANS will have you rolling in money within a week.  And, quite honestly, we have seen “hits” and “clicks” within a week on some sites, but building traffic that is significant takes time.  All the sites on the We Search—> You Save blog rely on keywords and indexing to get traffic.  If you take the time to look at the stores you will notice that the site owners advertise for one another by placing banner ads on the sidebar.

AdWords would be a way to direct more traffic to the sites, but our site builders have opted not to use AdWords yet.  I’m sure they will use AdWords in the near future, but for now all the income and all the traffic is “organic.”  Why?  At the onset, when we all got together an decided to set up a few BANS projects the objective was simple.  Spend no more than necessary and see what happens.

For that reason I have listed under “Free Stuff” many of the tools we used to get started.  Most have at the very least a 30-day free trial.  Some of the tools have been so impressive that we have signed up and paid to continue using the tools, but we like to “kick the tires” before we buy the car.

Check the new blog and tomorrow we will go over each step to getting the BANS store drawing traffic without AdWords.
