Can You Make a Living on eBay?

in Uncategorized,ebay

This is an article I found this morning about making money on eBay.  Please don’t assume that I’m going negative on eBay.  I’m not.  But, I am willing to say that even as a one time power seller on eBay, I didn’t earn a living.

There were actually a couple of months when I earned right at $3,000.  But, that was not a consistent number by any means.  And, I sold a lot of products to make the $3,000.  And, I did a lot of work to get there.

The BANS program won’t make you rich overnight and it takes work to get started.  Everything does.  If I have learned one thing that seems to apply universally these days it is that free lunches now cost $1.98.  So, don’t expect something for nothing.  That said, the BANS program should be able to supplement your income nicely within six months.  Like most online projects it takes time to get indexed by the major search engines and to build up traffic.

The point of this post is simple.  At this time I am not earning a completely satisfying income on eBay or by using BANS.  I am beginning to see the results of several months of work.  But, the income I am earning at this time takes the sting out of rising prices at the gas pump and the grocery market.

So, all I’m really saying is don’t quit your day job yet.  And, there is no time like the present to get started with an eBay project… be it as a seller or a BANS participant.  With the high cost of going shopping…. just getting to the mall … the time is right for people to do more online shopping.

Don’t miss the opportunity to take advantage of today’s economic situation.  People may not be shopping at the mall, but they are still shopping.  More and more are shopping online where they can “window shop” and compare prices and items.  And, there’s nothing better than having a purchase delivered right to the front door, saving time and gas.
